Long Hair vs Short hair

Hello Hello Hello!

So the question that is forever on our minds has sprung up again. To chop off our locks or not?  We have always tried to mix our looks up by changing our hair, adding colour, cutting it, balayage...you name it we've tried it! As time has gone by and we've learnt what suits us and what doesn't we have been in a bit of a pickle as to what to do next! 

And we have to admit that we have definitely discussed shaving all our hair off even though we know that is never going to happen! 

As summer is coming up, it got us thinking that it would be the perfect time for extreme change, like maybe chopping off our long locks and giving ourself a little makeover with shorter hair. The only thing that gets us doubting this thought is what if this decision is going to have us regretting what we've done for a very long time; We have regrets!

We have spent a lot of time trying to grow out our hair, because in our minds long hair is never going to come out of style, but we're super bored and want change! And hey...there's always hair extensions!

Louise Roe Style Obsession;

A little fact for all you Australian girls out there:

Did you know that standard clothing sizes in Australia were scrapped in 2008, which basically means retailers can cut their patterns and designs however they like. That is kind of confusing to us and a bit annoying because how will we ever know what size we actually are! Although that also answers a lot of our unanswered questions on why every piece of clothing we get varies anywhere from a size 6 to a size 12... Confusing? We think YES!

On another note, when we see someone whose style is absolutely amaze-balls we just have to share them with you guys! Someone whose style we have fallen head over heels in love with is Louise Roe, who is currently the host of MTV's Plain Jane.

Just looking at her outfits on every episode has us drooling and admiring her style, and so we wanted to share with you exactly why we love her style so much....

We love the fact that she can take anything so simple and make it look super fashionable, which not a lot of people can do! So we applaud her for that!

We also love the fact that she adds jackets and blazers to a lot of her outfits, because we love jackets and blazers! We have to confess that our wardrobes are filled with more jackets and blazers then anything else so we can definitely relate with her love for them!

TIP; If you ever take a casual outfit and want to make it look more stylish and classy, and simply take it from a day time look to a night time look, then simply add a brightly coloured blazer or jacket. It adds that little something to your outfit taking it from plain jane to chic and sexy fashionista!

Our Nail Polish Timeline

So like most girls out there... We love fashion & beauty and everything that comes with it. And one thing we love about the beauty section is the part where you get to make your nails all pretty and luxurious, something guys do not have the pleasure of doing (Yeah boys, we feel sorry for you!) and we take our nails pretty seriously!

We believe that nail polish adds so much to a look and makes every girl feel girly and beautiful! And when you get bored and feel like change, just switch up the colours, its that easy and so much fun when you can make it a girls day to go and get mani pedi's! Love! And switching our nail polish colours is something that we do every few days because we get bored super easily!

As time has gone by we have learnt that we absolutely cannot live without our nail polish and our collection is just growing and growing! So we wanted to share with you guys our favourite nail polish moments and colours!

We are also sorting out our nail polish colours and storage so when we've finished that we will definitely be showing you guys how we've displayed it all... We cannot wait till it's all done!

Insane Insanity

Hello all you fabulous beautiful people,

So while we were in America, our jet lagged kicked in and all that was on tv at 3am were people trying to sell you every kind of pot, pan and exercise equipment. Then something caught our eye, i don't know if it was the fact that the instructor was big, muscly, sweaty and tanned to the crisp (ok so we like our dark guys ;)) or the fact that eating 10 hamburgers a day was catching up on us and we realised we need to change. But there it was in all it's delight, ShaunT telling us about his workout program, INSANITY.
We were hooked! So when we got back, the first thing we did was research about it, and what we found was really interesting and so intriguing that we just had to join in.

It is basically a nine week workout program that is just crazy! You workout six out of the seven days in a week and eat a lot of carbs, which was very new to us.

But we are happy to say  that we are now on our now beginning our eighth week and still going strong with only two weeks to go!

We are the type of people who love food... And we definitely love to love food! But we also love to get healthy from time to time (or think long and hard about getting healthy). We've tried everything from going to the gym, to drinking different shakes, to eating less carbs to eating more carbs and exercising crazy and just finally giving up because nothing seemed to work for us as well as we wanted it to.

Now a confession for everyone reading about us. We are the most impatient people you will meet! We want everything ASAP, we want results after one day and cannot wait for it. Obviously we know life doesn't exactly work that way but hey, girls can dream!

So after trying everything we could and we thought about giving up Insanity came our way and we decided to do it together. One of us even said that if insanity didn't help us loose us weight then nothing would!

Now let us tell you; Insanity is NOT for the faint hearted and this is something we have to put out there! I'm sure plenty of you guys have heard about it and or maybe even attempted to have a go but the name says it all... it is INSANE!

Everyday when we go through our workouts we message each other and say how absolutely crazy it was and still is... It doesn't get any easier and it's tough but we are so glad we went on it!

We hate that we love Shaun T but we really do love him!

Here's a little sample of what you can expect. We've seen our bodies change and our fitness improve. We're happier than we've ever been. So take it from us...GIVE IT A TRY! You'll love every insane minute of it!

Summer... Where are you?

Summer is just around the corner, and with only half a month to go we are starting to wonder where the actual sun is?

Here in Sydney we have been having the coldest and wettest spring EVER and this has caused us to start bringing our knits back out! Now don't get us wrong... we adore our knits, but in moderation and time of the year and that is the problem we are having.

So we just wanted to share with you exactly how we have been dressing over the past couple of months that people call Spring... Because to us, it's been feeling more like Autumn again! 

And we just wanted to show you a little taste of what the weather has actually been looking like..

Fingers crossed things start looking up and the Sun will come out ASAP.

Hey guys, we know its been a while but we have been so busy with life that we haven't had time to scratch our heads, let alone sit and write to you guys but we are so excited to say that we are BACK! And we have missed you!

So it's pretty clear that everyone who knows us, knows very well that we love fashion, very much, and every time we fall in love with a designer we have to tell you about them because to us its just plain and utterly rude not to share the beauty with the rest of you who haven't had the pleasure of hearing about them as of it!
