Long Hair vs Short hair

Hello Hello Hello!

So the question that is forever on our minds has sprung up again. To chop off our locks or not?  We have always tried to mix our looks up by changing our hair, adding colour, cutting it, balayage...you name it we've tried it! As time has gone by and we've learnt what suits us and what doesn't we have been in a bit of a pickle as to what to do next!

And we have to admit that we have definitely discussed shaving all our hair off even though we know that is never going to happen!

As summer is coming up, it got us thinking that it would be the perfect time for extreme change, like maybe chopping off our long locks and giving ourself a little makeover with shorter hair. The only thing that gets us doubting this thought is what if this decision is going to have us regretting what we've done for a very long time; We have regrets!

We have spent a lot of time trying to grow out our hair, because in our minds long hair is never going to come out of style, but we're super bored and want change! And hey...there's always hair extensions!

So what do you think we should do to mix our hair up for the new season?

Here's a few shorter hair styles that are really tempting us!

Now you sort of understand our temptation don't you?

What do you think we should do?

We heart braids

Braids are no longer left for kindergarden girls who get their mums to do their hair. Everywhere we look we see braids and they're getting more complex and funky with every new design. Although we wouldn't dare to attempt them we though it would be fun to show you guys some of the designs that we are loving at the moment!

Have you ever tried such complicated designs?

What's your favourite out of these? Ours will always be Lauren conrad! Best fix for a bad hair day!

Balayage Style Hair

Balayage is a French colouring technique that was developed in the 1970s. It’s a freehand technique where the colour is applied by hand rather than using the traditional foiling or cap highlighting techniques. (vogue.com)

In other words, i feel like its a easy way to disguise the always hated regrowth. We know how annoying it is when you have a really nice colour and your roots start growing out! It's such a pain trying to disguise them but now... it's become a fashion statement!

Here's a little collection of our favourite celebrity balayage

style hairspirations!

We love them all but we think Miley and Lauren hit the mark on this look with the perfect shades and subtle effect!!

Do you love or loathe this trend?Marada xx
